I created a series of three publications, each exploring a different facet of my topic: Rot.

I AM NOT A PHOTOGRAPHER

I am not a photographer was an attempt at making a photobook that spins the idea of what constitutes a good photobook on it’s head. In concept, I think this was stronger than the exectuion, because after making it, it was evident that I aimed too high and missed the mark of being complete parody. The outcome was me gleaning the things I liked from photobooks and combining it with a bit of irony where I disliked the aspects of a traditional photobook.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

For Immediate Release is a publication that mocks the traditional press release in both content and form. Press releases are often simple documents that juxtapose their often malicious, rhetoric filled contents. A press release is essentially an entity attempting to control the truth of how they are perceived — this is a take on what it would look like if we were radically honest in our press releases.

ROT!

ROT! is a publication which explores my work in Blender from this term. Blender is a part of my practice in spite of my bad skill.
