Following the photoshoot I had, I created a photobook, symbolising the disconnect I felt with the rest of the world. I wanted to put myself and my statements in dialogue with the world and objects around me, highlighting how out of place I felt. I combed through months worth of photos to find moments of humour, absurdity, and juxtaposition and put them into a mock photobook called ‘Versus’ which included quotes from Aimee Mann’s Red Vines beside some photos. The goal was to try and have my viewer understand my point of view, feeling like the emperor has no clothes but also trying to fit in with the people who didn’t see that.

The result made me question wether the best format for my experimentation was in fact a photobook. I began to think of other mediums I could use to explore further iterations with.
